I strongly against this hotel idea! It's approach is like taking away the Central Park from NYC, and replacing it with a high rise concrete building. How disgusting of this awful idea! It's a close by hiking, water fun for our kids, our families, our community for years to enjoy. “We Do Not Inherit the Earth from Our Ancestors; We Borrow It from Our Children". Pls say NO to the developer!
Please do not let this developer ruin this beautiful area. There are so many reasons that this is a terrible idea, whether you look at it from the perspective of the environment (water quality), safety (both for those in the neighborhood and those staying at the hotel - flooding, traffic, emergency vehicle access), or just simply from the perspective that this is a beautiful area that warrants preserving. I can't see any reason that this makes sense for anyone other than the developer. He doesn't even have the future customers' interests in mind (he doesn't care if they drown because they don't understand the risks of the flooding in the area). Please stop him from implementing this terrible idea and ruining this environment for all of our sakes.

I am deeply concerned about the negative impacts that this commercial development will bring to the community and our city. I think it will be near sighted to focus on commercial profits only.

Spicewood Springs road is a narrow winding road through a beatiful area. A hotel will destroy the ambiance and create traffic jam, hurt the native animals and plants and polute our source of drinking water

Building a large heavy traffic plant on this rural road will create incredible traffic jams. This is in an environmentally sensitive area next to a major source of Austin's drinking water. Save this parcel as park land for Austin's citizens.

Impact on traffic will be significant. How can a bar on OSSR be a good idea?

Please don't disturb the preserve. High rise building is not fit for this location.

Please preserve the nature of Bull Creek Park. This road gets closed often due to low water crossing and hotel is not suitable for this location.

This is not the right location for a development like this and it will irreparably harm the environment, the neighborhood, and our community.

I agree with the petition. I've lived in Austin all my 34 years, and this is very close to the last spot that has yet to be over developed in the area. 360 south was already ran over and north of the bridge this is literally the last piece of land that is somewhat left alone. Don't allow this.
