This developer only wants one thing: to make money. He doesn't care if he destroys the environment in the process of building a hotel that no one needs. If you want to stay in Austin, there are plenty of hotels available already.

On top of all the reasons listed in the petition, the addition of a hotel would make already awful traffic, even worse. Please don’t let this be built for the sake of the environment and for the broader neighborhood and anyone who travels 360/2222.

We will protest this hotel /bar being considered to be built on this very narrow and winding road. The increase of traffic and alcohol is a disaster. This is sacred land and rivers that will be at risk as well. The quiet and peaceful road needs to be left alone ~ stand alone without confusion. Just let it be - PLEASE -

As a resident of the Spicewood Springs neighborhood, I wish to preserve the ecological integrity of our uniquely beautiful Texas Hill Country landscape. The idea of erecting a large and intrusive hotel building in such a tranquil residential area is offensive and disrespectful. I believe it is imperative to protect our water supply from the pollution that would be caused by this hotel, as well as ensure that local residents are able to live peacefully and safely within our neighborhood. As someone who survived a severe car accident caused by a drunk driver on Spicewood Springs road, I strongly oppose the hotel's bar. Spicewood Springs road is already a dangerous low water crossing area that frequently floods, and increasing traffic flow in addition to allowing access to a hotel bar would risk more alcohol related accidents and fatalities. Ultimately, the Spicewood Springs landscape is a natural gem that I'm proud to inhabit and I believe it deserves to be preserved for future generations of Texans, free of water and noise pollution, dangerous traffic levels, and invasive architecture.

The proposed 11-story hotel is so out of keeping with the neighborhood and the beauty of Bull Creek. This would be a huge mistake initiating commercial development in this environmentally sensitive area. The areas natural beauty of part of what makes Austin great. Please do not let it be destroyed.

Please do not allow this hotel. The traffic congestion will be horrible on an already crowded road that is also prone to shutdowns due to flooding.

The glory of living here in Austin and what brings people to want to live here is the natural beauty and escapes that we enjoy. Being able to transport in and around Austin is already challenging and adding such a large development and added crowded and transportation issues around Bull Creek will only add to this and make Austin turn into one more huge concrete jungle of a city. Please do no allow development of such magnitude along Bull Creek or frankly many of the other greenbelt and natural waterways our city and its residents enjoy.

I am sick of Austin City Council constantly developing Austin. We need to stop growth. This hotel will destroy the Spicewoods area. It's already hovering on destruction thanks to overpopulation.

Besides the unfortunate looming presence of a commercial building, having lived for more than 30 years on this lovely road and having the increased developments result in geatly increased flooding in this neighborhood, I am very much afraid this will increase flooding resulting in loss of property. Please don't build this!

This is unacceptable to destroy one of our major Greenbelt sight to create investment. Build the hotels closer to downtown and keep the city condensed.
