SAVE BULL CREEK

The fact that any consideration is being given to putting an 11 story building on a road that floods on a regular basis and is located in an environmentally sensitive area is mind boggling. I get the impression that before too long the city will be covered in concrete and nothing that looks like nature will remain.

This is no place for a hotel!

There are already dozens of hotels within a 10-mile radius of Bull Creek, but not dozens of parks with hiking/nature trails. We don't need another hotel. We do need oxygen-producing plants. Destroying nature preserves to build massive commercial structures is in direct opposition to the Austin way of life.

I live and work in the area. Please don't build this hotel.

Opposed to commercial development at this location, for many reasons cited previously.

Please save the green belt and nature around it! We love hiking and enjoying it. This will damage so much!!!

THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR ANY NEW COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT, ESPECIALLY SOMETHING LIKE A HOTEL.

David Kahn is horrible. This is the same guy that built the "boutique hotel" on Congress and ruined all the food trailers. He seriously helps contribute to all of our cities problems (ie, traffic, too expensive to live here. DEATH TO ALL THAT WAS AUSTIN) Stand up against him!! Try and save a shred of what Austin used to be before it's too late.

This would threaten wildlife and deface a lovely setting. What a disgrace to the city that pretends to be environmentally sensitive. Shame!

That land needs to be preserved. Any development would be unsightly, suck up our precious resources and increase traffic.

Please save bull Creek for the future.

Added traffic (during and not during rush hour) is dangerous on the existing roads that flood regularly. The only alternatives during flooding will be to route the traffic through residential neighborhoods where children play.

A hotel does not at all fit with the character of the neighborhood. This is a mostly residential area that wants to stay that way.

Hotels near Bull Creek would ruin a beautiful area.

Wrong place for an 11 story hotel. Worst idea I've heard since the toll lanes on mopac.

Please recognize what a mistake it is to think of a hotel near Bull Creek and Spicewood Springs Rd. The road is closed several times a year due to flooding, and a nearby park, St. Edwards, shows how people love access to trails, NOT hotels.

If you want to oppose this hotel, discuss with the Travis County Fire Marshal how this building requires two means of fire department access and how when it rains the number of access points is reduced to one. Since the flooding of the roadway is such a regular and predictable occurrence you could argue that it should be taken into account.

Against - severe environmental and quality of life impacts.
