SAVE BULL CREEK

Do we really need to build such on Bull Creek?? No.

Every city council member should come out and personally visit the site. If they do they will see how a hotel like this will completely ruin the area.

Green spaces add value to the whole city and county. A developer who ignores that value only adds dollars to his or her bank account. A Council who ignores that deprives all of its citizens.

What is more important to Austin's future--a safe and quiet environment to live, learn, and grow for the children who attend the preschool directly across the street from this site, or the greed of one individual? What is more important to our community--the quality of life for an entire neighborhood, or the greed of one individual? What is more important to citizens of Austin--preserving the rapidly shrinking pockets of nature that help make our city the liveable town that it is, or the greed of one individual? What is more important to anyone who draws from the watershed Bull Creek feeds into--a clean and plentiful water supply, or the greed of one individual? Make no mistake--this hotel is neither needed, nor wanted by the overwhelming majority of people in the area. But more importantly it endangers the resources that all Austonians treasure, no matter what part of town you live in: Our water. Our land. Our wildlife. Our right to live in a quiet, safe environment. This hotel threatens all of that, and I urge the City Council to reject this development.

This will ruin our community. Particularly the traffic problem over there on Spicewood and Yaupon. Additionally, the view will just be a giant building instead of the current natural beauty

Spicewood Springs is a rare area of Austin. Gutting forests for a luxury hotel diminishes the neighborhood and the environment. The developer's bully tactics reflect a dim prospect for a positive future.

Given that the city is struggling to make sure there is affordable housing for the working people of Austin, it especially seems ill=advised to allow another high rise hotel development and negative impact on water sources is not a good urban planning idea.

This location is in the midst of a residential and parkland area. Adding a mid rise commercial property further detracts from the area and continues the excessive overdevelopment which is negatively impacting quality of life in Austin.

Adding a 11 story hotel would significantly degrade quality of the neighborhood and the environment in this area. Especially considering the size of the single narrow 1 lane road that leads out of the neighborhood and is prone to flooding.

Isn't this the same proposal that was withdrawn last year? I was opposed then and remain opposed.

Another greedy developer trying to make a buck off our beautiful environment. This land should be for public use.

Preserve the environment please. It is not worth the congestion, traffic, pollution, deforestation...

Please preserve Bull Creel areaand our water supply!

Putting such a hotel in an area that currently cannot handle the traffic and consistently floods makes no sense. To allow this is environmentally irresponsible and will harm not only Bull Creek, but also the habitats of Bull Creek. There are plenty of other areas that said hotel could be placed.

11 stories is too tall for there. That's about twice the entitlement envisioned for there in the new CodeNEXT map. That's an environmentally sensitive area.

A hotel here would ruin the area.

We don't need another hotel, just more green!! Save our earth!!
