Aside of water quality, there is a visual visual and transportation impact.

There is not a need for a hotel in this area. If the developer wants to build a hotel, build elsewhere in a more commercialized part of town. Don't turn this neighborhood into a destination where out-of-towners come and go and care less about maintaining the quality of the neighborhood.

The arrogance this developer has displayed when addressing other's concerns with his plans only magnifies the fact that he is simply and selfishly concerned with himself. Please consider annexation of this property to restrict such development.

Traffic, flooding, and bikers are already a bad problem in this area. Please don't allow all the additional people that would be at this hotel to make these problems worse.

Once we go in this direction, there is no going back... Let's protect Bull Creek as its importance to Austin is critical to a healthy future.

Yeah, at just around 650 sigs, this Petition needs to be ramped up for real.

I have been enjoying the trails around Bull Creek for several years and now bring my children there to hike and run. Maintaining and improving this area has an important positive impact on quality of life for many families and individuals.

This is to much. Greed and overdevelopment are ruining Austin. When we will it stop. This is not Austin. I thought our elected officials had our best interest in mind

I would not like the aura of the neighborhood I grew up in get ruined by a hotel. Not to mention the value of property value decreasing as well.

I live close to Bull Creek and frequent it regularly. I do not want a hotel built here.

Live right next to it. Insane idea to put in any commercial property, much less a hotel!

The Bull Creek area is an extremely unique and sensitive environment which needs to be preserved. I am not against growth, but for smart growth. This certainly isn't smart. A boutique hotel, lodge or any accommodation of this scale, whether 11 stories as proposed or anything even close to that scale would be terrible for the area on so many levels. This proposed development has the potential to impact our water sources and their quality, the environmental condition of the area, its unique flora and fauna, add additional strain on our resources and danger during our inevitable flooding, add traffic to a roadway that is already overtaxed for its initial design as a small, low traffic county road, is proposed to be built across from a small, secluded preschool, in a quiet, tranquil area and I can go on. Again, this is an irresponsible concept on every level. This is not an individual who has this community's, Austin's and its environment's best interest and went in blindly, but a known developer who has shown his inability to compromise and work with set guidelines in the past. Additionally, If you haven't visited the Austin.gov's very own page regarding the sensitivity of the area and District 10 or haven't driven down Old Spicewood Springs Road yourself to comprehend the impact a hotel would have to an amazing, truly one of a kind area, please do so!

How anyone thinks this hotel is beyond me. The pollution from this will run right into our water supply via Bull Creek.

This development is such a bad idea in so many way. Bad for the environment, traffic and the Bull Creek watershed.

I live on Cyrillia Drive (off Bluegrass) and absolutely love our view of the limestone whiteface rock that is directly behind his property. It is absurd to me than anyone would want to put an 11-story building in front of it in such a beautiful, peaceful and natural area. Mr. Khan is clearly not a fan of Wright's organic architecture that blends into its surroundings. What's wrong with a 2-3 story structure? Oh yes.. his greed. I wish I could attach a couple photos of our view. Can you imagine how far up the cliff face an 11-story building would climb? Ugh. Distasteful to say the least.  I'd love to show Mr. Khan the beauty of our view now just so he can see how far-reaching the effects of his hotel will be. Besides the effects on water-quality, roads, possibly the loss of life for a guest due to flooding risk.. there's the aesthetics and noise issues he will create that those of us all around the valley shake our heads at. His property would honestly be best suited as a park that could be enjoyed by all instead of as a hotel that destroys the natural beauty of the area. Imagine the hike and bike trail that could be built and enjoyed by all Austinites instead of a tacky, tall hotel that stands as a stark and constant reminder that Austin is being sold out to the highest bidder, regardless on the effects to those already here, or to the environment.

This is not a compatible development for the area, the environment and the roadway system.

Please do not let our peaceful neighborhood and school get ruined by this greedy developer.

Ledger cliffs are far to precious to bury behind yet another unneeded and unwanted destruction of what little is left of Austin.
