Please give Buck another chance. Any dog can bite if placed in the wrong situation. With an understanding home, he will do just fine.

This is outrageous...the shelter should have eveluated him before he left the shelters care to see if he would have been compatible to be in a home with children of a certian age...this is most certainly not the dogs fault it is the shealters due to the lack of responsibility before adopting out an animal for not eveluating the tolerances of what would overwhelm this dog in situations. This animal shelter simply lacks responsibility and is willing to cover up their incompetence by wanting to only have the opion of euthanizing an animal the failed at eveluating his most stressful situations and his reactions to them..simply put the shealter is at fault here due to their entire lack of responsibility as a staff and adopting! Don't blame the dog for the shealters staff irresponsibilitys!

We the people, are the voice for the voiceless. T. Russell Rietz Shelter is dead wrong for not evaluating this dog for young children. I work with several rescues, and that is one thing we always do!!!

I own 2 GSPs and know the breed around small children and humans. He just needs someone to love and spend time with him. I do not know Chris Soupene, but his time and energy show the willingness to teach Buck.

Please dont euthenize Buck. The shelter should never have sent a dog recovering from surgery to a home with young children. Nor should the shelter have adopted out an unvaccinated animal. The fault is clearly on the shelter for not making responsible decisions for the dog and now they want to take his life. Just not right.

I think the shelter should give him another chance. They should have made sure he had his shots and was able to be around young children.

Let Chris adopt Buck! No dog should be allowed to go to a new home the day after having surgery! T Russell Ritz Animal Shelter needs to change their adoption process to protect the adopting families as well as the animal's safety!

All the irresponsibility lies with the shelter. They never should have adopted out a dog right after being neutered and certainly not if his vaccinations were not up to date. And no dog should ever be left alone with a 2 year old child. Certainly not a newly adopted one before it's had time to acclimate. Apparently, the shelter needs to provide education to his adopting families in regards to proper dog handling.
