If you are a shelter, then it is your job to adopt animals out. Certain breeds need certain accommodations, and GSP's need a lot of exercise. Sending them to a family with a. 2 year old that may not have any breed experience is a recipe for disaster. Do the right thing!!!

Buck deserves a second chance! Circumstances matter and Buck is a victim.

It was stupid to get a grown dog for a 2 year old!! He was setup for failure! Seriously, let the man adopt him, its a perfect match! You have to use common sense when adopting full grown dogs to families! It was the parents and shelters fault more than anyone elses!! Total ignorance to blame the dog!

If an animal is provoked to bite the first time, they will do so a second out of fear. IT DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE AGGRESSIVE. It is NOT Bucks fault and HE SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE ADOPTED. Let Buck go home to a safe place and have the chance he deserved to have a happy life.

This dog had just had surgery the day before. The humane shelter should be held liable for adopting him out the next day. Give the dog a second chance

It was irresponsible of the shelter staff to let him go right after a surgery when he's naturally going to be defensive because of how he feels. To then put him with a 2 year old is just bad judgement on the shelter's part, not the dog's. Also, why would they adopt him out without his shots? It was negligent on the shelters part. They are supposed to find a suitable home based on his circumstances right!?! SAVE BUCK!
