Chris and Buck deserve to be with each outher. In the first place if Chris wouldn't have felt bad that the little girl wanted Buck he would have already had him, because he was the first in line. But because Chris has a soft heart he let them have him giving them his phone number in case it didn't work out with them. Chris loves all animals, and would be patient we Buck. You all desideded at the beginning to put him down but he doesn't deserve it or neather do Chris. Chris sent me a picture on Saturday with Chris and Buck, you can tell that they were great friends for being together for an hour. It's not either Chris's or Bucks fault that he wasn't given his shoots, but yet it's a great thing or Buck wouldn't be here, Please let Chris and Buck have a life together. You won't be disappointed with your choice. Think about it!

A shelter should evaluate BEFORE an adoption to see if the animal is compatible for a family with small children. There are many dogs that do not get along with small children!! Especially dogs that have come from abusive homes or that have never been around kids. Any decent shelter should see if the dog gets along with kids and the family BEFORE! Should always know if it is a compatible home not just for the owners but for the poor animal as well. This poor dog deserves another chance! Considering the fact that the gentleman has offered to pay to have Buck independently evaluated!!! You should want to save EVERY animal possible!!! Even the family of the child doesn't want this dog put down!!!!! That speaks volumes!!! Do the right thing!!!

This dog Should be evaluated by a professional dog behaviorist to determine his true temperament. Freshly neutered and put with a two yr old child? What was the shelter employee thinking???

Please do not put this dog down. Human error adopting out a dog recovering from surgery. This is not Buck's fault.

This is no fault of the dog! The shelter is to take full responsibility for not properly perparing the dog to be rehomed! And definitely should never ever ever send the dog to a new home after a surgery like that where the dog is still in pain. Especially without any sort of pain medication or instructions to keep the dog contained for at least 5 days to recover from surgery!

This shelter needs to have ALL of it's policies re-evaluated.
I would bet any employee there would be pretty grumpy had their bodies just had their hormones cut off.
This dog is not to blame for what happened and should not be killed.
Enough dogs and cats die in this country. Please do the right thing and not add to that total.
