It's a normal reaction for dogs to defend themselves when being provoked, this dog shouldn't be punished for it.

Shelter is responsible for this. Let dog go a day after surgery and didn't give all shots

Give him a chance. He was likely in pain from his surgery and stressed by his new surroundings. GSP s are gentle and loyal dogs and this boy deserves another chance. Just do the right thing here.

The dog should not have to suffer the consequences of the child's parents not teaching their kid how to act. Any living thing can be pushed to the point of lashing out; this does NOT mean that creature is inherently aggressive.

Please give Buck a second chance. Chris wants to give him a loving home and has agreed to accept all responsibility and assume all risk. To not allow Chris to adopt Buck is cruel punishment for Buck. Let these two be happy together.

Every dog deserves a second chance. I have had four dogs in Manhattan, KS and each one came home with pain medication post neuter. This animal should not have been adopted until healed and given a rabies vaccination at the shelter,. Shame ON THEM! One very angry voter and tax payer.

Two year old kids can be overactive with a dog who just went through a lot. My grandkids did the same thing a learned to respect our dog. Everything is fine now. Buck deserves another chance.

This dog would most likely never have bitten if he wasn't allowed to be adopted so soon after surgery. (And if the policies had been set in place to evaluate the suitability of the new home before finalizing the transfer) A more suitable home is available. Please let him be adopted!

Not only are GSP's non-aggressive, they are shy with strangers. The only danger is them licking you to death once they get used to you. It doesn't matter if they are full grown, they will still want on your lap.
