Buck deserves a second chance and Chris is willing to give it to him. Don't let this poor guy down.

Please don't punish a dog for being placed in the wrong circumstance. It was a human error. Let him live to be adopted into a better situation.

I have 2 GSP rescues willing to take Buck. I emailed the city commissioners and the director of Parks and Rec letting them know about these rescues but had no answers. I've helped this shelter save their dogs since 1979. Buck was placed in the wrong home and he shouldn't die because we made the wrong choice.

Please let Buck be adopted after his 10 day quarantine is up. I have had many rescue dogs over the past 20 years. I currently have 3. As you know, not all dogs do well with small children. This is probably the case w Buck. When my children were toddlers we always had at least 2 dogs and had to set clear boundaries so that the kids and dogs were safe. We never had any problems but we are also experienced dog owners and parents. It sounds like Buck has a new person that would like the give him a good home. Please give him a second chance. Thank you! Mona Arnold

Because we all know two year olds can be annoying to animals. Do dogs deserve death sentences for that? No.

Buck does not deserve to die. The shelter needs to take responsibility on adopting a dog right after surgery and not giving a rabies shot prior to leaving the shelter. Release Buck to Chris. He will make sure Buck is not put in a situation where he could bite anyone again.

The parents have been more cautious about bringing a dog around their two-year-old special as it came from a shelter and not knowing about the dog it is not the dogs fault it is more the parents

I run a rescue myself and a lot of things were done wrong here. Please don't punish Buck for that as there is still time to rectify this situation. Continue down a path that leads to the death of this precious baby and a lot of incompetent people should lose their jobs there in Manhattan. Animal lovers will not let Buck fall through the cracks.
