Buck was nuetered, then went to his new family the next day. Why was he not kept at the shelter until he was completely healed? Buck had to have been in pain as well as being put in a strange home. Come on people, this dog did not create this problem, the shelter did.

You can't adopt out a dog without temperament testing to a family with small children and pets, and when the dog reacts negatively, declare it to be aggressive. You have set this dog up for failure. Let the man adopt Buck.

I am a volunteer at numerous rescues, this breed is a more high strung breed and never should be adopted out to people with small children. They nip when they okay, they nip when they are fearful. Give this dog another chance.

the dog didn't make the determination that it was a good adoption and shouldn't pay the price. Killing is a last resort not first or second. If someone is determined to kill him when he has options that person needs to be evaluated

This whole thing is just common sense. The shelter let him go to soon after his operation. THEN you let him go to a home with a 2 yr old. The shelter needed to stop blaming the dog and take responsibility for their own wrong doings. It would be ignorant to put this dog down. Let this man give Buck a loving and stable home.

Sounds as if the parents may be partially responsible. The dog shouldn't have to pay the price for an adult being irresponsible.

I hope he doesnt get euthanized. And if he does I hope the person who does it never forgets murdering an innocent animal.
