The owners are in compliance with City Code and should be left alone. The neighbor should be charged with harassment.

Research the intelligence level of pigs and their ability to care for young and perform complex tasks. Scientists regularly say their capacity is equal to or above that of dogs - in the top ten list measuring animal intelligence. Just because this is not common knowledge does not give anyone the right to take someone's pet away.

I love Pacific Grove, but this is just so disheartening. I think said neighbor needs to focus his/her energy on something worthwhile, and leave this sweet piggy and family alone!!

Bruiser is an awesome pig and has become part of the family. I have spent plenty of time with Bruiser and his family, and he is just as much apart of the family as any other pet. Since they have complied with all laws, rules, and regulations, I'm happy to sign this petition. It's wrong that it has come to this! Free the pig!

The pug is cute and there is no reason to take him away he is well cared for and lived so much by the Hanes family. It would be heart breaking to see him go.
