Do not close down Bruce Grove Youth Centre! Its a place where kids are free from stress and can enjoy the benefits of being a young person in Tottenham!

I do not think this is a good idea, our young people need places to go and they obviously have a lot of respect for their youth centre and youth workers.

i use to go here as a child it kept me off the streets and loved going there. The kids and community need this place there's nothing to help these youngsters and more centres need to be open not shut!

Please do not take such a short-sighted approach to your services. Investing in our youth is aboslutely imperative if we are to build a safe, inclusive and fucntioning society. To make such deep and damning cuts to the youth services will further isolate young people in the borough and lead to a whole raft of problems over the coming years. Please invest in our youth, and our future.

They have to find some kind of diversion for these kids and get parents (and society) to make them believe they can be happy, do well and earn a decent buck by living life the right way. Those that grew up in a multicultural inner-city will (hopefully!) know and believe that black, white and Muslim kids are all the same, and many are just following the wrong path because they are bored and feel they have no other choice. They are looking for an easy way out of the mess around them and don’t always have the parental support or guidance they need. They are easy pickings for people higher-up the drug ladder looking for runners, or even those looking to radicalise young Muslims. They have to take this back to the root of the problem by giving disillusioned youngsters hope, belief and a better option than taking drugs, stabbing people, or ultimately blowing themselves up. All children are born exactly the same after all......

I have read the newspaper articles and the politician is not even making sense.
