The youth service is one of the strongest supports for the youth in the community. The impact of the services are phenomenal and cannot be cut moreover it needs more backing

Bruce Grove Youth Centre and other council youth services in the borough are vital to supporting young people have happy and successfully lives. They encourage new learning, celebrate achievement, and build community spirit. They keep vulnerable youngsters safe, while promoting social inclusion and understanding of different cultures. After under-investing in local authority youth services it would be a mistake to cut funding further or dilute the uniqueness of youth provisions by merging it with non-specialist services. The claim that it can be provided by voluntary sector organisations is undermined by them also under the threat of funding cuts. Haringey Council should be investing in youth services and expanding the facilities at Bruce Grove. A vibrant youth service is a key part of the community-led improvement of the borough.

stupid and shortsighted cut to a much needed and used service. Leave the young people alone, you should be helping them not taking away their support. Sack consultants not youth workers.

After the riots, this is a silly idea.
