Why can't this camp be grandfathered in by the city. Surely our city can apply some common sense to this issue.

This a working solution that provides services for our homeless veterans and homeless community members. They do not need the city coming in and taking it over or shutting it down. Camp Conklin provides for their needs while helping people get into housing. It is community lead organization that provides needed services for our homeless veterans. It does not need the city to take over, doing so, will destroy what this community has provided.

Bravo Base Camp Conklin knows what it all about. If shut down many of our Veterans & Civilians this Camp helps to overcome many Mental as Physical issues helping each to find medical as resources to obtain housing vs being homeless. If shut down many will again be found homeless along with many homeless they search for daily & provide for giving each a chance of becoming independent on theirselves & in housing.

These people are doing what the City should have done, only better! They have given the local community back a Park that was infested with drug dealers, which the City allowed to happen. They should be given a Medal for their efforts, not an eviction notice!

I have visited this camp, prayed with the Veteran's and enjoyed talking with them. They keep it cleaner than most yards. This is their home. Save this home for them please.
Good things are being done here
Keep this camp! It has a purpose!
