Leave them alone. What kind of human being takes away all that they have? Instead of shutting it down how about HELP them. But I guess when your in a world were your life is perfect and no worries you don't care to help other in need of help..

They do good work for veterans and immediate community. They save a huge amount of tax payer dollars. Very efficient in their work and good stewards of anything donated to them. Humble citizens trying to help themselves, others, and reduce crime and dangers in community. If the city could donate land and utilities to this group where they are at, it would continue a win-win situation. Or maybe the utilities could set up an account for basic electric, water, and sewer and allow others to donate money to cover bills. Would neighbors like it better as a village of mini studio houses. So many ideas being tried around the country. Las Cruces, NM has a homeless tent area but has a soup kitchen, clinic, and other limited services next to it. Their tent city is by an industrial type area and not really neighbors to complain.

I've witnessed the work this group is doing, and can attest to the fact that this camp, while not pretty, is truly doing great things to transition people to more permanent housing. Perhaps, instead, the city could determine how to work WITH this group.

God bless these people trying to do a good thing in the City of Tucson. Please know that a kind of nation is watching over you. They are causing no harm and are being cared for at no charge to the city. May God continue to hold two in his hands.
