This place contributes a lot to the atmosphere of the Altstadt. If people don't like noise, they shouldn't live above a bar. Where is the common sense?

I have so many awesome memories with my friends from my Erasmus year there! The place was always crowded, yes (because it is great!) but why would you rent/ buy a place when very well aware of the fact it is above a pub in the first place?!

Das Kulturleben in Heidelberg stagniert zusehends, nicht zuletzt durch solche Forderungen. Wenn man in der Heidelberger Altstadt leben möchte, dann muss man sie nehmen wie sie ist. Man kann nicht auf der einen Seite im Kern Heidelbergs leben wollen und in Kaffes und Gässchen Lustwandeln und dann nachts die Bürgersteige hochklappen.
