Excuse me, but the ONLY one who benefits from this practice is the hospital, because it's an easy few hundred dollars, to the detriment of the baby boy involved. Circumcision has NO medical benefit. Hasn't anyone noticed human males have been fine without circumcision for hundreds of millions of years? The US is one of the very few countries that still practices this barbaric tradition as "routine" and "medical." Get your facts straight and realize you're contributing not only to a baby boy's utterly undeserved and needless pain, but a lifetime of knowing a very important part of him was taken away, all on the myth of cleanliness propagated by doctors for money.

This young mother and infant are being held without a court order. They are being subject to poor treatment and are not being allowed to be with their family where they could be receiving the help that a new mother and baby desperately need. Please return this young mom and her baby to the safety of her grandparents' care.
