I am a breastfeeding, no circumcision, mother and baby rights activist!!! Do NOT let this poor baby starve another day from precious mother's milk and DARE NOT mutilate that poor child!!! It's a mother's choice!!! NOT THE STATES!!! It does not matter HOW the child came to be...God does not make mistakes!!!

Circumcision is barbaric. This whole situation drips with medical kidnapping and state mandated torture. I am repulsed at the State of Alabama.

This is a shame especially after all she has been through. It takes a courageous young woman to deliver and keep a child who is the product of rape. If I remember correctly, she can ask for her advocate and if they refuse, she can add that to all of the other rights that these people have violated. Stand your ground, ask for your advocate, and a lawyer. I pray that you and your sweet baby boy can return to a happy life and home.

I'm disgusted by DHS actions in this case. I used to work for DSS and spent 7 years teaching case managers to never behave in this fashion.

Why is the state taking this on, when her grandparents have offered to assist her and would provide a good home? Why do child services get involved when they don't need to, and don't get involved when they do? Waste of money to do this to these people!

This is nothing less of child trafficking. Taking someone against their will and forcing them into a shelter. We demand answers!!!!!! This baby should not be the victim of genital mutilation, which is what circumcision is.

I would love to sign this petition for the family involved to get there family back and stop the circumcision of the poor baby this is all against the law and every person should be charged at the fullest !

Why in the world would a government agency approve a non medical procedure on a baby let alone a sick baby when there is NO medical need for it.
Each year over 100 babies die from this procedure and you want to do It on a sick baby who has a compromised immune system.
DCF has NO right to impose their beliefs on another helpless human and not even give that baby a gaurdian ad liteum (sp?) when you won't listen to his mother.
