No mother should ever have to endure any of this. I can't imagine the mental, physical, and emotional turmoil she's undergone throughout the entire process of having her baby.
No baby should ever have a cosmetic procedure performed on their genitals as well.

The actions of DHR and the hospital involved are despicable, reprehensible. DHR must be held responsible for their unethical and unprofessional behavior and actions, as should the hospital.

Please reconsider at the very least, the cosmetic surgery circumcisiin about to be performed on this newborn who has been forcibly taken from this mother who has been traumatized enough already and decided to keep the child. Foster families can take them both. Cosmetic surgery is not covered by most insurers and the Medicaid system should not either. This is irreversible and unnecessary. Thank you.
