DR has too much power! This should not have happened . This girl chose to keep her baby even though it was the result of rape . They have unjustly taken her away from her home and taken over how she should raise her child. They let children who really need them be beaten & abused but they chose to break up this family. Ridiculous ! !

DHR had no legal right to take this baby from this young mom. Nor did they have legal right to remove the young mother and her brother from their home. We the people demand justice in this situation. The mother, her brother, and the mothers newborn should be returned to their home immediately!

Please release Braelon , his mother and her twin brother immediately! Let her nurse her child which she gave life to and do not circumcise Braelon against his mother's wishes!

If she has the right help from family and a healthy environment to take care of the baby they need back off. If it isn't a healthy environment or if there is proof that the mother is incapable of taking care of the child they wouldn't need to go through all this trouble and this wouldn't be an issue. So they need to let this mother and her family (since she's so young) to take care of this child. I would think adoption would be the best bet IF and only IF the immediate family is unable to help support and raise the child.

This is like a nightnare. I don't understand why the authorities got involved in the first pkace. She's in a loving family and is getting help from her grandparents. She's doing the right things by breastfeeding and as the mother, no mater what her age is, she has the right to make the choices for her child.
