it is ridiculous that DHR is allowed to do this when there are blatant cases of child abuse and the kids are put back in the abusing family. This mother isn't abused. I think this is a pretty white baby that these DHR agents are trying to get released to let a rich family adopt

As a mother this makes me so angry!!! This is not only illegal but completely unfair to do to the parents and this child!! It's an unnecessary cosmetic procedure that has TONS of risks and complications! Also to pressure to do this to a baby who is now already a month old is absolutely absurd! Not only is it illegal and risky it's also against the human rights of the child and
Without the child's consent!! If you allow anyone to do an unnecessary surgery on an infant baby without consent and without permission I guarantee you will not only have a lawsuit but also have an army of parents rage from this situation. Do the right thing, the legal thing and allow the mother and child to make their own informed decision with CONSENT. She and her baby have rights!!!

This is illegal. This needs to end immediately. She has every right not to have that baby circumcised, but DHS has NO right to keep them captive and push her to break. She won't. She will be a great mother. Please let this young girl take her baby home.
