Do not force that baby to have a procedure his mother doesn't wish for him to have. It's not right and it's not fair. That mother didn't ask to be a mom and it sounds like she's doing a better job than most anyone I know! Leave the decisions to the mother!

The system is so effed up. I don't understand how they believe what there doing is ok. My son is uncircumcised as well as his father both have had NO issues. This peditrician clearly doesn't realize circumcision was proven to not deserves Sti/stds and Utis. It's purely cosmetic. And the MOTHERS**** choice.

Circumcision of a neonate is a violation of the UN Convention on The Rights Of The Child, (Security of the Person) and therefore should not be carried out, especially when the baby's birth parent objects! Circumcision is an unnecessary elective surgery, and therefore also a violation of any licensed medical practitioner's Hippocratic Oath, to "First, do no harm." There is no immediate medical justification for executing a Circumcision on this child. Additionally, doing so would constitute a waste of public money!
