Save Bournemouth Borough Council's Badgers from Culling

WHEN IS THIS GOING TO STOP OUR WILDLIFE OF WHICH THEY ARE WILL BE NO MORE THERE HAS TO BE ANOTHER WAY TO HELP THE FARMERS AND TO KEEP OUR WILDLIFE

The cruel cull trials highlighted that this does not work and in fact spreads the disease. It is limited by the control of cattle movement and vaccination of cattle and badgers. An enormous waste of public money and unspeakably cruel.

Stop this madness

Vaccination & biosecurity will be effective in the long term - culling is cruel & ineffective.

How can we pretend to be a civilised society when we allow this to be happening? We should hang our heads in shame.

Please don't allow any Badger culling in this area. The government scheme was a complete failure and caused many victims prolonged suffering and a slow death.

The opposite statement by DEFRA about the length of scream indicating suffering says it all. This is an inefficient and inhumane method of dealing with TB in cattle or badgers. Stop the cull - Vaccinate.

Culling is not a good solution for the TB problem

Culling has been proven ineffective and inhuman - as well as an unjustified means of controlling bTB before trials were even started. The government need to listen to the evidence not just 'do' to be seen to be 'doing' something!!

Please do not even consider a ridiculous waste of money on such an ineffective unproven idea. A badger is not worth £4,000; a badger, not to mention all our other precious wildlife, is beyond value. Change farming practices instead.

Wales have just reduced BTb slaughter by 33% in a year WITHOUT culling badgers. Bio-security WILL work if it's enforced and vaccinating badgers will prevent pertubation and keep costs down as no policing required. Culling will never work and is horrendously expensive and divisive and a total waste of police resources.

Listen to the science not the DEFRA perverted ideas. Culling will not stop bTb, vaccination does. There are local volunteers who while vaccinate for free.

Please listen to the scientific evidence that culling is not the answer, higher standards of farm management and vaccination is the way forward.

I do not live in the Bournemouth area, but visit regularly for work and social weekends. Much of this leisure time is spent wildlife watching - please, listen to the science, and let the reasons for these visits live

Although I live in Christchurch Dorset, I wanted to sign this petition because Christchurch Council isn't on the list. I am absolutely against the culling of badgers and hope these petitions will put a stop to them.
