Utter disgrace, a run of the mill nisa doing away with the finest butchers in Gateshead. Who on earth wants a bigger nisa? Who on earth wants a nisa? Boycotts?

Do not close bobs butchers, the sausages are excellent and will be missed by a lot of people. A larger Nisa is simply not needed or wanted. The co op is literally a stones throw if people want a larger store.

Do messers Barrett realise that that he may have no customers after their un-ethical business dealings..... Don't forget Mr Barrett, your customer can and will vote with their feet. I for one will never purchase anything from you ever again. In my eye's you are no businessman and many of the local community feel the same way. VOTE WITH YOUR FEET!

If the Nisa is to expand and they provide trolleies for their customers how are the customers supposed to get their purchases home? There is little or no provision for parking at the the front of the Nisa. it begs the question.... how much extra will customers purchase? Messers Barret are reputed to be BARRING people that go into the Nisa to talk with the owners about this situation. That's really building their customer base and good will, which are two of the most important things that make for a successful business If they keep barring their customers or potential customers they will not gain any projected revenue! I don't really think that Messers Barrett have done their homework! 100% Customer Service is what makes a successful business.... Just ask Bob, George and Gillian because they know all about running a successful business !

This is a disgrace. The butchers and local shops create a proper community. There is just no need to expand the nisa in this spot.

A crying shame to oust good businesses from a lovely village-like street, in favour of an ugly and unnecessary shop selling low quality convenience foods! Not to mention the job losses!!! Poor show!!!

We don't need another large convenience store. Local businesses who offer something different a wider range of their unique and specialized product.

would be a crying shame if this place goes, its well liked and supported, a real butchers shop on a real local street, these kind of places need to be kept open, as they are a real service to the comunity.

This is a very popular well established family butcher. We need this in Low Fell. The owner of the property wants to extend his grocery shop we have plenty of these shops already in Low Fell we do not need another.

Small concerns at struggling why spoil an excellent going concern.
