Save Bluewater Trailer Park

This park is a major boom for Kincardine for revenue. The seasonal residents spend and contribute to all the restaurants, they pay their rents, that go towards the town. And many are previous residents that have family here. The council refuses to indicate what the land will be used for. We do not need another condominium that will totally ruin the peaceful ambiance that exists. This is extremely suspicious and reeks of a power play to destroy yet another plan to change the landscape of Kincardine. Leave it alone. I’m sure many would agree. The land was donated with good faith that it would remain as it is, and the council has no right to scoop away land that is home to many retirees and Kincardine expats.

I'm sure something can be done to save this place in some way...

We live extremely close to the BTP. The Park is well-managed, the residents live quietly and the grounds are well-kept. The BTP also provides income for the community at no cost. It is our hope that the BTP remains as it is.

Keep it open!

If the Trailer Park is closed, after the town residents say NO, and no plan is put forward to use the land, No To Condos, I can see the land becoming an eyesore. So NO closure to trailer park.

Spent 19 years at my Bluewater Trailer Park “paradise”

Camp fees should cover maintenance and up keep costs. But I believe we should keep it as is.

It s part of our history in Kincardine. ..a place to greet and meet on the shores of Lake Huron

No need to shut this down in order to potentially build condos…keep it as is..

I have spent many days and evenings making amazing memories in this park. Lisa and Vern Stacey have done a wonderful job up keeping as well as adding beauty to the camp. They have poured their hearts into this space. I would hate to see it become an income property. It has also brought many people to our town from far and wide. Many have made this area their homes. It’s a beautiful campground and would hope it will stay that way for years to come. Well done Lisa and Vern. The town has more than enough property to work on. Madonna Stewart

I’m a summer cottage resident on Saugeen Street they are great neighbors .

First of all, the Park is host to 40-odd trailers, whose residents annually pump thousands into downtown Kincardine's economy. Secondly, with the brave exception of Andrea Clark and Bill Stewart, we apparently have a council who would rather sell the land to a developer (hello MacCondoland), thereby throwing mud in the faces of the original land donors, and being woefully blind to the unique waterfront Kincardine now possesses. And finally, 10 years ago when my wife and I were looking at different communities along Lake Huron as a new home, Kincardine topped the list because of the fact that here was this pretty lakeside town that actually allowed a trailer park to exist 2 blocks from Main Street. What a great place this must be! And it has been. I ask that this present council look beyond the attraction of a short-term cash-grab by selling this land and instead recognize that the park adds immeasurably to that intangible feeling of what makes Kincardine a special Community.

Camped at this park all my childhood, so many great memories and loved being part of the community. Sad to hear the town is planning to disregard the intention when that land was donated.

Keep the trailer park alive.we got nuf flower parks . Rock gardens are just a stones throw away.
