It was almost like the majority of my childhood just being in the park when my dad used to take me here so I don’t want to see it go

Requesting that Blake Lane Park permanently remain a park. There are other places to build a school, but park land is a premium, and one we do not wish to give up. The traffic on Blake lane is already heavy, and will increase once the new multi-use project is completed at the intersection of Blake and Arlington Blvd. Adding a huge school would turn Blake Lane into a parking lot, and deprive locals of the joy of an open space. Thank you. Dee Smith

My son grew up playing soccer at Blake Lane Park. He later played varsity soccer at Marymount University. It all started at Blake Lane Park.

Destroying Blake Lane Park would be a tragedy not only to the community but to the world.

I cannot imagine this neighborhood without this park. It is a great place for my family and community to hangout. In a concrete jungle otherwise, I like the fresh green lawn and the air when I walk everyday. Please do not get rid of the park

The County needs to preserve our parks and the improved quality of life they provide for our residents, as well as their critical role for the environment and wildlife.

Please keep this special piece of nature intact. There are many other practical options to address school needs without destroying the park. It is too valuable to our community!

12 votes on the School Board. Which Magisterial District and at large candidates will vote to not build on this small park?

I've just moved into the community, and already I'm planning on fighting for Blake Lane park. Showed up for the primaries, and I'm going to show up for the election this fall.

Thank you for your efforts to help us continue to have green space on Blake. The resulting traffic from a school or any other building would be a nightmare in an already crowded small street.

I LIVE on Blake Lane. Traffic is already bad. I want to stay in Fairfax and my property tax has already increased 50%. ENOUGH!
