This park is great for kids, and should remain that way. Moreover, this area does not need more traffic.

I like this piece of green lawn and trees, do not want it be replaced with another ugly building.

There is so much traffic on Blake Lane because of nearby schools, such as Oakton High and Mosby Woods. Another school will make driving in the morning impossible.

The park is a plus for the community environment and activities. Additional school in this area will result in traffic congestion in the area.

Save our park. Oakton High school traffic already makes Blake unpassable every morning, adding another school will make it grid lock.

We need to be careful about how decide to grow & also be protective of our rapidly diminishing green spaces, and the wildlife they support.

Blake Lane park is a critical green oasis in an already extremely populated area! Please find another location for your development; folks need a walkable park in the vicinity. Quality of life is destroyed without open greens....

This is absolutely crushing news. It’s such a nice and convenient park for the residents who live here. My kids enjoy playing catch or football on the weekends, and it’s a popular spot for soccer practice as it’s one of the only patches of green around. There is no logic in taking away a nice little piece of greenery from the many residences who use it .

This sight is very important to the area. Not only as a play area for families, individuals and pets but it is also integral for many young sports organizations. I see during the summer, spring, and fall many young youth soccer organizations. There is also already terrible congestion in the area especially off of Blake Lane leading to Chainbridge road in the morning and the afternoon. The building of the school would lead to further congestion in the area.

Blake lane gets backed up every morning because of Oakton high kids, rush our commuters, and the ever increasing population due to new residential development. Leave the park alone for the remaining green space in Oakton.

This is a very difficult traffic area. I live off of Hibbard and already there are times when turning onto Blake Lane is virtually impossible. Mosby Woods ES is a mile away. would it not make more sense to expand the footprint there?

We need the only green space in the community.

There's not enough green space in the county as it is. It's a quality of life issue and we've lost too much of that already. There's also an elementary school right around the corner from there on maple ave that was just expanded and renovated.

Please do not remove the dog park at Blake Lane. It is the only dog park in this area.
