We live behind the park and would lose our entire backyard, recreation space, our dog park, and all green space

Great place for the kids and pets. This space is needed for all the communities on Blake Lane and surrounding area. No more traffic is needed on the already busy street!

Please save Blake Lane Park! Do not allow the county to build a new school and destroy the green space that is so needed in that neighborhood, especially because of the I-66 expansion in the near future, which will bring more cars and more air pollution. The park is essential for the people who live around it and for those who visit. Surely the county can find other ways of providing 800 elementary school seats either by expanding existing schools or constructing in the areas that don't require cutting down mature trees and annihilating wildlife and Accotink Creek ecosystem.

Always enjoy the park when I come visiting with my childhood friends. Besides the view from windows is magnificent especially in the fall It takes years to grow such a big park and it should be preserved as a piece of nature.

While I support growing families and education, there has been no effort to widen or account for traffic on Blake Lane through 2021. The construction at Oakton High School and the new Scout on the Circle with 400 apartments and retail space will make movement impossible if we add an Elementary School to the site. We already cannot travel freely on Blake Lane between the hours of 3:30pm to 7:30pm daily. Furthermore, we need the green space that is disappearing everywhere for our children and pets to play.

This is the only green space we have. Don't take it away. Blake lane is already too congested. Many people use this park.

Need to keep the park to save the green space in the area as there are no other parks like it close by. Traffic is already terrible on this road and cannot support more cars coming to the area.

As a 13 year homeowner in the community I vote NO to the new school. Our peaceful neighborhood would be ruined.

To preserve our natural space is to allow residents and future generations to enjoy the invaluable benefits that a green space has to offer.

My family moved to Oakton in some part for having this park as a close-by asset. Preserving this (and other) parks is very important to my family.
