Save Bicester Communal Sports Ground. (Oxford Road site)

We live opposite this ground, so sad to see what is going on. More increased traffic congestion and pollution if this BV development goes ahead. There's nothing green or healthy about that for local residents. We do not want to see parking or shops on the Bicester people's sports ground. This is a disgrace. Please keep this ground for recreation as was intended and hand it back to the people of Bicester.

Let’s keep the field, and the protected view of St Edburgs open. The pocket park is no recompense, it will be overshadowed by the car park and poisoned by its fumes.

I want the grounds to remain an area for sports leisure and not be used by Bicester Village for a car park or retail.

Save our green spaces, the residents of Bicester will not benefit from this development but will have to endure the monstrous building placed on it.

What happened to the 'Garden City' Bicester was supposed to become? Just another load of lies and deceit. These people have ripped the community spirit out of the heart of Bicester leaving it souless and sterile. Leave us something from which we might build a new community spirit.

Bicester Village is big enough. These grounds were bought with donations from the people for the people.

This land was acquired specifically for the provision of sports and recreation grounds for the benefit of those living in Bicester. It is one of the few remaining green spaces in Bicester, is of historical importance and should be preserved for the beneficiaries of the trust. The proposals by BV are a smokescreen to grab land for their financial benefit. Once it has gone, it has gone forever.

There is already a massive lack of affordable pitches for grass roots in the Bicester area

The sports ground was gifted originally as a collective for the pursuit of sports across all ages for Bicester Town community folk. No one person has ownership or the right to sell what dies not belong to them. Typical Tory greed & behaviour that will only benefit shareholders. Shame on BTC.

Should never have been sold in the first place.

Let’s get reopened for the people of Bicester

We are losing so much green space, yet the government keeps telling us we need to do more to get healthy. We need this back.

Keep it please, would love badminton and squash and tennis please!!

Needs keeping as is and refurbish in. Def something not right how this came about. Not saying too much on here but all sounds a bit fishy.

My family are descendents of George Layton who bequeathed the land to the people of Bicester.I am saddened that his wishes are now being disregarded.

Save the green space don’t let Bicester village build on it
