What idiot decided that a large post office that is always busy would fit into a cramped shop like W.H. Smith's. ??

The Register Square PO has competent and professional staff and has the room and facilities for its important work. A space in Smith & Son would be crowded and in many ways inadequate.

Extremely busy post office , Smiths is far too cramped and small . A ridiculous suggestion.

The Post Office is always busy and is staffed by knowledgeable and helpful staff. We need a dedicated post office in a town like Beverley.

Another stupid decision made by people with no consideration for the people, in France most villages have post offices they are part of the community and was in the UK before greed and making money took over consideration of people particularly old people who rely on the post office. They don’t all have computers or internet banking, but then they have the lowest pensions in Europe, it’s tome the British stood up for their rights instead
Of relying on MPs that are in it to line their own pockets what happened to caring for others

This is a very well-used post office that is always busy when I go in - you often have to queue for a few minutes until a cashier is free. WHSmiths simply don't have the room in their unit to accommodate this vital service.

The only comment needed is, RIDICULOUS TO CLOSE THIS POST OFFICE. It's always packed full of people I have never been in there and not queued for less than 10 minutes, if you are thinking of moving this inside whsmith like I have read that's just stupid people in everyone's way while they are shopping and if you are not leaving a town with a population of over 30000 with a post of in a tiny newsagent (woodhaĺl way) is just beyond belief. Full stop

It is the heart of the community...traditional busy post office..we do not want the post office in a shop ..we want the post office to stay where it is and belongs. The Beverley Post Office is always busy..far to busy to relocated to a small shop.

Nonsensical proposal. Utterly ludicrous.
