All for having a Branch but major improvements need to be made at this Branch, better opening hours for weekends and organisation . Why has there been such a big turnover of staff over the last couple of years ? Some excellent staff have gone, there is obviously problems at this Branch

It is not ideally located but it is always busy. I cannot see a shop franchise being any more accessible or able to accommodate the numbers.

A decision no doubt made by some faceless overpaid manager sat in some back office with no knowledge of the local area or needs of the local people. It is almost impossible to get in and out of the Smith outlet now so add to that the huge numbers that currently use the post office and that will cause gridlock.Remember the old adage!!!

To many local post offices are closing now. I've always found this one very useful and it would be a shame if it closed

This post office is always busy. Smiths won’t be big enough to cope.

No franchised service will have the same range of services as a dedicated post office. Beverley is a centre for a rural area and needs this dedicated facility for a much wider population than Beverley itself

The post office is already crowded at some times of day. It will be worse in a busy shop.

Beverley is big enough to justify a proper Post Office. It should be kept open. Perhaps selling greetings cards etc would be appropriate and would help towards the cost of the upkeep.

Please don’t close down this post office, it’s valuable community resource, and local people like myself can walk to this post office without the need to get in a car.
