This prevents falling rainwater from percolating into the soil and saturates the surface of the earth, which eventually subsides as a mudslide.

The environment is protected by laws. If we all follow the laws, we will do minimal damage to our surroundings as we slowly take over all wilderness.
Projects should not be green-lighted or given special consideration. The laws were written without the pressures. That's why we do that. Follow the laws. Do impact studies on big projects.

Enough developing already! Stop pandering to money interests. his beautiful hillside should remain wild and undestroyed by the bulldozers blade so the Deer, Bobcats, Coyotes, Raccoons and Quail can use it like they always have. The site may also be susceptible to mudslides.

A building permit for 10016 Charter Oak Lane was filed and REJECTED back n 1999,
Nothing has changed regarding this. The street in question is no moe then a glorified alley measuring less then 10 feet in some places. This a unbuildable lot with very limited access and a permit to build should be rejected immediately for the same reasons given back in 1999.
