I have lived in Beaumont sense 1985 and this rink has been part of my life! It’s been an amazing facility that needs some love and it will continue to be a great facility. Why get rid of a facility that has so much use from the public and school?? It was greatly missed this past winter!!

The rink is always used and is such an asset to the kids at Bellevue school, too. Please keep this outlet of entertainment that is used not only in the winter, but summer, too. Its where our kids learned to skate and first ride their two wheeled bikes.

Deciding to take away any source of exercise and ways for children’s and families to get outside is a thoughtless plan when it’s utilized fully all seasons, specifically in a community that has a lot of youth.

My kids have used this rink and the kids in the classes I’ve taught at Bellevue have used this rink. It is seldom not in use.

This rink has been a huge part of my kids and their friends lives,playing hockey, on foot or skates and they use this space daily at school, for more than just that, basketball, skipping, broom ball, and many others.
This would be such a sad loss if this rink was removed. I do hope the new plan of removing it changes.
