This rink has been an anchor of outdoor recreational sports in our community for decades. Rather than take away an amenity, it would be more beneifcial to not only enhance this facility, but to make a commitment to ongoing maintenance. Amenities like this contribute to the foundational building blocks of a complete community.

Bellevue rink has always been low maintenance for the City. It provides recreation for all citizens and especially for non organized or organized groups. It is a huge asset to the centre of the city. When things are gone they are hard to bring back. I urge Council to consider this in their decision. Please support this petition!

I've been skating on Bellevue Rink for 30 years and it's always been one of the best ODR's. Rebuild it, include local business advertising on the boards as funding and keep the legacy alive.

I guarantee the rink/court as currently present provides more annual recreational value to citizens/kids in Beaumont than “restoring the land” ever will. An empty lot with grass, playground, etc, does not adequately substitute what the current infrastructure provides.
If maintenance costs are the real concern, spare me. It may not show up on the balance sheet, but the value the rink provides exceeds whatever operating costs it may require. Find better ways to cut expenses if needed.

Please keep the ice rink fir the children n all other ages that make use of it. It does get slit of use on a regular basis. For many years shinny hockey kids would use it. My kids used it so many times and is very useful to all children n parents.

Keep the rink or build a new one let me get in Leduc with a proper club house. This rink was a staple for me and my brother growing up. Can’t be more Canadian than taking some shots on a Saturday night home for dinner with family. That rink helped me get to college and pro
