Bellevue Rink was slated to be upgraded - NOT removed. This rink provides everyone with an opportunity to get active! This rink has been used for many community events, one of which is dear to all of us - Tanner Hubbs’ Fundraiser. The community rallies behind it’s people! We support each other. Many times we break bread to celebrate and share our stories. Our Village comes together and celebrates through sport and activities. Our children (and adults) in this city need MORE recreation areas to connect - not less! Engagement through activities begins at a young age. Bellevue School is a champion in engaging students into lifelong active living, through a wide range of activities that allow for inclusion. Do not take opportunities away from our community. Instead, foster activities by providing safe and multi-use recreation areas. Bellevue rink is a staple in our community. It needs a facelift and it needs to stay.

I’ve played hockey with all four of my boys on this rink for over ten years. We’ve shovelled off the ice when it’s snowing and blowing with cousins and friends just to play for 20min and have to retreat to the shack to warm up.
Our kids have learned to skate here and play hockey here.
It’s a multi-generational landmark in Beaumont, and as a city I think we need to band together and put in some work to restore it.

Any town should prioritize the possibility for kids and families to take advantage of parks, playgrounds, rinks, etc. It's part of a any NORMAL community. If the plan to remove this rink ha=s anything to do money, th people behind this should be removed.

Please keep the Bellevue Arena in our city. It’s the original ODR and needs to stay as such. It’s a place or tradition and entertainment for youth and adults that’s always been there. No need for a huge fix, just get it to safely operational and a place to enjoy the outdoors each season.

Don’t take away this rink. Kids and youth need to be able to stay active in the community. Taking this away will result in one less thing for kids to do.
This location is great as in the winter you can play at the park, skate and toboggan at the same location.

My children used the Bellevue ice rink and now they have children they would be using it too. Such a shame if it is taken away. I have lived in Beaumont for 41 years.
