Do not destroy a "green belt" especially one with such a long history. There are surely other tracts of land which can be developed for housing at a much lower cost and with less disruption to the existing community!!!!!

With all the beauty that is surrounded around the club wit to we want to destroy it?? The heritage of the club will also be distroyed and for what, someone with you much money trying to make more money off land that is the community's?!

It would be a very sad day for the Benoni Community, and a resounding negative message for other sports clubs in South Africa, if greedy property developers were to have their way with Benoni Country Club. The site has been the heart of the community for a number of years and this should be upheld and protected.

We have to leave our green areas alone, and Benoni Country club provides a good community oasis in the area where all people can go and relax at..
