These taxes are squeezing out the small businesses. It doesn't seem fair and it takes away an option for visitors to the city.

The Two Urns is a charming place offering american hospitality to international guests. If B&B's as the Two Urns could not exist any longer in Chicago the city would lack of a multiplicator of a very special and familiar hospitality.

Hi Joe. Please do not apply this inequitable tax to B&Bs. We do not stay in hotels, and would not have visited Chicago at all if we had not been able to find a lovely B&B like the Two Urns (stayed 3 nights 9-12 August 2015.

Increase hotels, motels and B+B's 1% more tax. Keep it low, slow and fair across the board. No reason to single out these businesses.

assessments should be fair and widely applicable. B&Bs shouldn't be singled out, especially through an administrative change.

25% is exhorbitant and greedy. Please do not put B&B's out of business.

Two Urns was fabulous and I would highly recommend not jeopardizing these wonderful establishments due to the unique and personalized experience they provide.

I come to Chicago every 3 months from California to visit my daughter and granddaughter. The House of Two Urns is my home away from home and I would be devastated were it to close down. Please do not impose such an impossible tax hike on these small family run establishments. I will not be forced into a large downtown hotel but will be sleeping on my daughters couch with no tax revenues at all from my visits going to government coffers.

This tax by Berrios is unfair & unethical. Tactics like this are the reason why people hate "Crook County" - I guess he needs more revenue to hire more of his relatives!

The office of the assessor shouldn't have the power to force an entire class of business owners to shut down their businesses due to unfair taxation. Where is the due process here?

Should we be surprised by this? This is how Obama runs the country. He hates small businesses almost as much as he hates the military. And who is the Mayor of Chicago? You guessed it, Obama's good buddy, Ron Emmanuel or as l like to call him, Obama light.

We need small businesses! Why this effort to force the closure of so many longstanding great small businesses? They have met all obligations - paid license - set by the city thus far. Why in the world treat these small business so unfairly that their only choice with sudden tax change will be to close!?!?! Raising fees on customers is not an option. They are at their limit now of what they may charge.
NO to this unfair tax change tax!

Taxes should not put businesses out of business! Then there are no tax collections! It is not rocket science.
