Please stop the disruption of the much needed public use of OUR park. That event is an ugly nightmare for very little money. 200 000 per year is a joke for this level of disruption!

Parks are green spaces for people and wildlife to enjoy and it is disgusting that Wandsworth council have signed a contract to allow these racing events to happen.

This is a community park for the many residents who visit it with their families and is in no way appropriate for such a noisy, antisocial and polluting activity. I should like to know what consultations have taken place with ratepayers and who has benefitted financially from such a contract.

Our green spaces are precious and are the lungs of a city. they should not be despoiled and the people prevented from using them for personal recreation. Wrong on all counts. How long bfore this spreads to other parks? It should be nipped in the bud NOW

Totally inappropriate. I feel very strongly this type of thing must stop. And I don't even live in London

It seems to me that councils are shamelessly allowing green space to be destroyed , concreted over, or covered in plastic turf to suit minority interests. Is this so they save money by not having to maintain a park. If so this is short sighted. Green open spaces in London pay their way in financial, social and psychological . They are needed for people's physical and mental well being. This Must be stopped.

Who are the responsible on the Council? What did they receive in return (above the measely 200K per year) They have shown with their actions that they do not respect democracy or citizens views. Elect other representatives next time.
