This is another sign of those in power allowing development in places which the ordinary tax paying public have paid for in their taxes. Once again greed for money has won in destroying a place for people of all walks of life to enjoy.

A public park is for the tranquil enjoyment of all the public, all year round. I cannot believe that the commercial exploitation of the park, and the exclusion of non-paying public falls within the spirit in which the parks were created. An elderly friend who walks in the park every day could not gain access through the gate nearest his flat. He could not walk as far as the other gates, so he was effectively housebound for 3 weeks. I normally use the park several times a week, and I strongly object to the proposed plans for further racing.

This is yet another example of councils seeking to transform public spaces into cash machines in order to fund their own pet projects and cover up financial mismanagement.

My children and I enjoy battersea all year round especially in the Summer holidays, we do not have a garden and use battersea park as our local meeting point for outdoor activities. Many others in the surrounding area does this. In 2015 there was high inconvenience which went on longer then stated and simply not worth it. What did the racing bring for the local community??! please do not commence with Formula Racing know one wants this! We care about the park and playgrounds not silly cars.

Me and my brothers and sister practically lived in Battersea park. It's one of the most beautiful and loved in the whole of London. As much as you may here this from so many of us please don't ignore don't take away the beauty of this park so that some can have their thrill. There are people that enjoy and Love spending time here it helps them with their troubles just being surrounded by so much beauty. And who love and cherish it as much as dose who take pride I keeping such amazing standards.

I have practically grown up in batteries park as I went there nearly every weekend as I lived so close, there has been many changes but dmfir the better Thame park looks great now please don't do anything else to it it's not needed and you will upset many people
