My children and I have always enjoyed this park and it would be so sad to see another green area in London be overwhelmed with cars.

As a regular park user over nearly 30 years, I am very concerned about the disruption for so many of the residents in the area. Battersea Park is completely wrong as a venue for Formula E racing.

Very much against a racetrack in this beautiful peaceful dog-walking park

Allowing vehicles into the park closes it to pedestrians and their pets. This is not what the park was intended for and we should look closely at the orginal charter for the park and its uses. It a place for 'slow' - walking and exerciser. Even the bikes can be too fast for the neighborhood families.

The idea of promoting the notion that there is something wonderful about driving at speeds that are illegal on every single road in Britain is ridiculous. In our cities, we need to encourage people to abandon the private car altogether -- in the interests of their health, air quality, people's safety and noise levels, and instead encourage everyone to use public transport and, for short trips, doing them on foot or by bike. The Formula E event sends all the wrong messages.

This is an absolute disgrace and should not have been allowed to happen, even for one year. Parks are places to seek quiet and sanctuary from an otherwise fast-paced and frenetic city life. Being in nature has proven to be good for mental and emotional well-being ... how can a Formula E racecourse be permitted to be built in a place of tranquility such as Battersea Park. I am outraged.

It is a park not a common . It is literally a life line to many including my blind friend who walks there daily and is now utterly baffled by lorries etc . This is unnecessary and cruel. Please stop and rebuild our park .

How will local residents move, live and most importantly be able to use Battersea Park for exercising themselves and any animals. Battersea Park is for general usage and to deny public access without even the decency of consultation is unworthy of the responsibility that Wandsworth Council have to implement it as such. Is this a case of greed overcoming green? That is truly shameful.
