It is a crying shame that Wandsworth Council has sanctioned this event. This Victorian park has long and rightly been considered one of the jewels in the crown of London parks. It is outrageous that so few residents were consulted about this unwanted event in the park and that only ticket-holders will be allowed access to the park while it's going on.

Shame on Wandsworth Council who have no respect for this beautiful park or the myriads of local people who depend on it for their only green space to play,walk or relax in. The constant cry of having low council tax is getting very old Wandsworth!

No more destructive events in Battersea Park. Wandsworth Council should be more selective about which events they are giving permission to. The untold chaos this will create for neighbours with noise, parking, litter will be dreadful.

Battersea Park was created as place of peace and quiet for the people of London to safely walk, children to play with safety and walk their dogs it is not a place for noise and pollution

I dont think Battersea park is approproriate for this type of event. Too intrusive. There will also be noise issues for residents.

How can shutting the park completely for 5 days be justified? Thousands rely on Battersea Park for walking, running, tennis, athletics, fitness, dog-walking, relaxation, children's recreation etc etc. Where will the thousands of dog walkers exercise their dogs during this period?
