Parks are for the public not for rich corporate companies to use and damage.. Why not look at using a depressed area with lots if space.. Outside of London! Plenty of them

It's about time our voices of concern about the financial exploitation of Battersea Park were heard. Of recent years, especially the last two there has been a notable interference of the peace that was once in this beautiful quiet park....that is no more - No thanks to the council greedily exploiting it for their motivations of monetary gain. It's appauling. And we the people are not happy about it. Stop using the park for your financial gain

This is an awful use of the park for both local residents and visitors to this fantastically treasurable green space in London, who do not need this sort of nonsense occurring.

This event ruined the park for months in advance - lorries everywhere and building and no toilets for months. Also it made the park dangerous for dogs and children. The whole event is an environmental disaster and ruins the pleasure of the park for thousands of Londoners for weeks/months

We must all unite to save our public parks from commercial exploitation.

The history of the park, including details of upgrading and restoration work funded by the Nat. Lottery AND private fundraising available on line. Astounding that Haringey Council would subscribe to actions which undermine the work they previously supported.

Public parks are unprotected: there's no statutory requirement on Councils to maintain them. Therefore some Councils see them as a soft touch. Haringey is another example. Keep parks as parks!

Public parks need protecting on those who want to build on them and those who want to push the public aside for commercial activity. Battersea Park should be free and accessible by the public and improved for health benefits. Not altered to be one a more suitable venue for events . Similar approach by Haringey Council to excluding the public from Finsbury Park so that a large music concert can damage the park.

Stop trying to do away with the space by stealth. People need green spaces for their mental health.

I'm a disabled driver who uses the park. I find it difficult to get to parts of the park from the car parks, ie: cafe on lake etc. as roads are shut off even to disabled. We can't even visit when events like these are held here. Battersea Park or any other Park is not suitable for car racing. It should remain a place for people to enjoy. Car racing belongs on Race Tracks nowhere else. Leave this park alone please.

Battersea Park is a gem situated alongside the Thames. It is a place of beauty and is also a tourist attraction. London is rapidly expanding and being covered with more and more concrete and glass, that is why it is vital we preserve our green spaces for generations to come to enjoy.
