As a resident of Prince of Wales Drive and daily park user I have no words for what is happening here right now. Shame on the Council for allowing this.

Regularly run Battersea and walk on lunch break, can;t any more as it's been turned into a 'no-go zone'. Council should be ashamed!

I've known this park since 1976. Over the years this grade II listed space has been developed for the general use of families and as such it has been successful. However the current planning for a Formula E race track with its unsightly ugly tarmac utterly destroys the whole area and we will lose a hitherto lovely green space to noise and unattractive urbanism.

Public parks are for members of the public to access recreation, not for local authorities to close effectively for 3 weeks at the behest of corporations like the FIA,

I am against this Formula E race to go ahead and for the park to be closed to the public for 5 days! How can a closure of a public park for this event to be allowed to go ahead?

What was once a relatively natural park is being degraded to suit a few for entertainment purposes. Why can't we leave parts small designated areas such as Battersea Park to nature and human peaceful contemplation

How am I going to explain to my dog he can't go to the park for 5 days because its close for a stupid race. Basically wandsworth council is promoting animal cruelty. I've been in the park every day for years and the damage that is being done to it is shocking, and this is just the first few days. You can't walk where you usually would, its noisy and dirty.

The disruption is a disgrace, I was unable to pick my son up from his regular football with an overly aggressive man telling what direction I should go - a disgrace

Find it difficult to believe that if locals had been properly consulted and appropriate testing carreid out that this would ever have been approved

Bringing concrete barriers from Shreffield for a week does not seem very good for the environment -800 lorry loads apparently

E racing in a historic park is a terrible idea. The park already looks terrible owing to the construction work and there is over a week to go to the event. DO NOT DO THIS AGAIN.

We will campaign against any attempt to repeat the Formula E event.

I was there only yesterday, the number of contractors and their equipment was overwhelming. The park is not useable for its intended purpose.
