The lack of information at the park gates is bad. My dog was lost and confused by work in progress for this mammoth event. If I had known what state the park would be in then we would not have entered.

Chaos - concrete everywhere, very unsafe for children and dogs - I am SO ANGRY that residents were not consulted about this stupid event. It has basically ruined the park for normal users for the whole of June. Seriously pissed off. Thanks for nothing Wandsworth Council and Formula e.

No signage on any entrance to provide guidance on which areas are off limit in preparation for this event. Chaotic conditions, very unsafe and without regard for tourists or visitors.

This is nothing more than the shameless prostitution of a public space.

What a disgrace there is not enough safe green areas for people to enjoy it plenty of roads and traffic already. To do this without consulting local residents shows how underhand the council has acted. If this was something residents craved then a vote would have been the most democratic way of dealing with this but obviously it was not something the people wanted- shame on this sneaky action by the council.

The weeks of building work and interference are a huge barrier to many thousands of people enjoying the park at the height of summer.

This is the worst thing to happen to Battersea Park in its long and proud history. The Council sadly must have contempt for it and us.

Further pressure on green spaces. I live don the park for nearly 15 years and trishaws to be the worst use for the park. It really makes you wonder the underlying reasons. What's wrong with a regional race track where it will improve an economy in need of cash but surely not Battersea! No doubt spin will come to state it as a positive green space action plan!

Needless to say, sacrificing Battersea Park for such an event is an absolute disgrace!

This is nothing but vandalism, at the expense of the many for the wealthy few. I am in the Park three times a week and it's a complete mess. Children and runners and cyclists kettled into small paths by hundreds of workmen who are digging up our green space. It's shameful.
