please reconsider this decision. There must be somewhere more suitable and less disruptive of such a beautiful place.

Unfortunately the next bout of local council elections are quite a way away. I think the problem is also that certain councillors who were against it, toed the party line. However, one did resign the whip, one of the reasons being the issue of Formula E. Brave man.

I think you may well get quite a few votes. You are not alone in thinking that way.

Wandsworth council are a disgrace how could they wreck the people of London'smost beautiful park is beyond comprehension .This has caught us all by. Surprise and we should be very angry with the council who should spend more time looking after our green spaces instead of trying to make a fast buck !

Think I may stand as an independent at the next council elections so we can boot these charlatans out. This is a pure act of vndalism.

Now that the barriers have been installed you can see the full extent of the disruption. The security staff act to locals as if they own the place and quantities of concrete and metal are totally out of keeping with the natural environment of this park. This should never happen again.

Suggest all like minded people vote against the current set of councillors at the next election, the results were close enough for us to remove them from their posts. Also the locaBest approach is for us all to vote against any of the councillors supporting this at the next local election - the results last time were close enough for us to be able to remove them.

I have to say I wasn't totally against the project when it was discussed at the Friends of Battersea Park AGM last year. I thought the money it generates to the council would be use full. I had no idea it was going to be so disruptive. I cycle through the park every day to work and the last few days have been really unpleasant and dangerous! My daughter walks across the park to school and she hasn't been able to do it for about a week (and we are still another week from the event). Plus I don't understand why the park has to be totally closed until Wednesday 2 July. Please, break the contract right after this event.

Where is the health and environmental impact assessment - what about impact on local roads with people getting to and from events, air pollution kills as many as smokinh
My quality of life and my dog's is being ruined by this event. I have rented outside London as I cannot bear it any more.

Battersea Park is a "People's Park" and large sections of the Park should not be closed to the general public. A park is not a racing track and this event is not appropriate. I strongly oppose it.

Provided you can find £200k (whoops, sorry, a possible £200k) and let Boris lead the run.
