I live in a tiny hamlet with one through road, what should be a country lane now regularly desecrated by Silverstone traffic as the circuit's crowds arrive and leave. Don't let this happen to Battersea Park.

the Event will scare wildlife, the track is too narrow for e-Racing anyway, and the disruption to parklife is unacceptable.

The lack of proper consultatuon with the community is outrageous and this should be referred to the local government minister or ombudsman. In an overcrowded area this event is inappropriate and gives out wrong messages for the use of community space. It is clearly another example of wandsworth council putting their own cupidity before the interests of the community which it is there to listen to and to support

As well as signing this petition, email [email protected] - there must come a point where the council receives so many complaints that it finally gets through to them that the residents of Battersea are outraged, distressed and angered by this nightmare in our beautiful park.

Keep Race cars out of Battersea Park! We already have Fireworks inthe park and residents suffer to accomodate the amount of people coming in!

This is really inappropriate for a park where people go for peace and relaxation. I am alarmed at the destruction done to an important green area. the event disrupts residents enjoyment for many weeks, not just for the days of the event itself. it is a very badly thought through decision.
