Appalling use of a public park with seemingly no consultation with local residents. The disruption is dreadful, the closure and permanent damage/changes unacceptable.

Public spaces are becoming increasingly scarce and they are important spaces which offer equality of access for all people and not dependant on socioeconomic circumstances nor do they ask their users to put their hands in their pockets so that they can enjoy the space. The commodification of Battersea Park is the trickle-down effect of our public spaces being taken away for the sake of commercial enterprises. It started with libraries and now it is encroaching on our parks. This decision has clearly been made without proper thought or assessment of the impact on the local community or even how it conflicts with the Wandsworth Council's other priorities to their population.

Dan Riley, the Council recently redacted FOI data indicated they will go to tender again after the five year contract expires, so Battersea Park will never return to a 'pre-E' state. The loss of the park at the height of Summer is here to stay and will never return to its Heritage 2* condition. We now have an 11-month per annum Battersea Park.

would be desperately sad to see this happen. Battersea Park is one of my favorite green spaces to visit when in London. what a loss this would be.

Lack of prior consultation with local community. The park should be completely open to the public to use as they normally would, particularly at this time of the year

I moved to Prince of Wales Drive to be opposite a delightful and peaceful park so close to the Centre of London. Now look at it.

We saw the havoc this event created in Miami for weeks before and following the races. We don't want to see this repeated in one of Londons's public spaces.

I spend every lunch time in this park - i don't want it ruined for my coworkers the dogs and their walkers or the runners.
