This is our park the residents of battersea and surrounding areas a public park which I use everyday. I object to it being used as a race track and being closed for so long. Who are the profits going to?

We live in a city and need our green spaces for their tranquillity.

Councils are too keen to remove green spaces in our polluted city. What is the point in having E racing cars if those cars are damaging the local environment?

Taking space away from people walking and cycling and turning it over to cars is the opposite of what I thought was meant to be happening in London these days.

It has completely ruined my enjoyment and use of this park, at what should be a beautifully floral time of year!

Why? It a park not a money making option. It's bad enough that you turned the children's Zoo into a private money making slot machine with half the animals it once had. Shame on you Wandsworth

This is a totally inappropriate use of Battersea Park. Outrageous that pretty much the whole park will be off-limits to local residents and tax payers for so long. It must never happen again.

I use this park every day to meditate. Well, every day minus the set up, race and cleanup. Thanks for asking the populace whether we wanted this. Shame!

Who is paying for this? How much money is Wandsworth making? Who pays if someone gets injured? 3 weeks of loss of my community's park is too great, especially in June. Shame on you Wandsworth!

A park is for public use. This commercial venture goes against the principle of a local council serving its community. complete lack of consultation and willing to expose the public to unnecessary risk by turning the park into a construction site, with complete disregard for safety.
