Horrible for all residents! It feels like we're in a prison. Very disruptive and ugly.

We do not want this event back next year! The work is far too disruptive - almost 3 weeks altogether of this horrible site!

Wandsworth Council should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this event to take place in Battersea Park.

Disgusting commercialism that disregards the wishes of most residents and rides roughshod over ideas of wildlife conservation.

This is a totally inappropriate activity for a well used London park which should remain ALWAYS open for use by everyone.

Our parks are very special places where we can enjoy a green space in the midddle of an urban setting. Battersea Park is not the appropriate place for a racing event evn if it is Formula E. I would be concerned that the regular park users have to loose some of their space to make way for a short lived event .

Baffling event. I know from experience (I'm from Hamilton, NZ) that these events are never as popular as councils think they will be, and never make their money back, and never recoup the losses imposed on councils to set it up. This time, however, it's obstructing one of the world's best public spaces. Baffling.

Disgraceful, our park is being ruined! Children can't go to the playground on the most beautiful summer days so far and no one can enjoy the park since 2 weeks (even before if we count the endless resurfacing during the past few month) it's a building site or cycle through the park. Every Battersea Park commuter had to change their cycling route. Runners have to avoid the park too, we are herded like sheep. These are only a few examples and am very angry. Thank you for organising the petition!

The Park is for us to use - not to be hired out to the highest bidder. It is there for the public's enjoyment and should not be used for such inappropriate purposes.

This is absolutely and completely unacceptable. This is a public park and beloved as a place of tranquility to visit and relax. Now it resembles a concentration camp. The wildlife will also be affected detrimentally by this. I still can't get my head around how this has been allowed to happen. This is only on the interest of a minority of race enthusiasts with above average incomes and the large (external to Battersea) money interests involved.
